Cevians is proud to announce that it has been selected to support NASA’s Artemis II, air recovery operations. The Artemis II mission will transport a crew of four astronauts aboard the Orion spacecraft to orbit the Moon and recover them when they return to Earth. The iSafeNight line of polymer NVIS filters were selected to support this mission by providing night vision compliance for various displays, tablets, laptops, and smart phones used in the military helicopters flown by the air recovery team.

Cevians iSafeNight line of polymer film and filter solutions enable MIL-STD-3009 compliance for COTS displays used in night operations. Lightweight and rugged iSafeNight filters are field proven to allow users to safely operate using night vision goggles without performance reduction during critical operations.

Constructed with Cevians’ advanced proprietary photochemistry formulations, iSafeNight cutting edge solutions are manufactured to optimize visible light transmission and attenuate NIR and IR wavelengths that can interfere with NVG’s. The filters’ durable composition and antiglare surface finishes improve sunlight readability and enable touch functionality.

Cevians understanding of light behavior at the quantum level, combined with its expertise in material science, and in-depth knowledge of optics, has made us a leader in the aerospace and defense industry for optical filter, displays, and NVIS solutions.  Cevians is proud to support NASA’s Artemis mission, as well as military and avionic programs around the globe.
