From Molecules to Systems™ was created to highlight the company’s high level of vertical integration. The company’s strategy remains unchanged fueled by a decade of demonstrated successes. Mastering material sciences at the molecular level, Cevians’ foundation is built on developing various types of glass and polymer chemistries, and then integrating them into products and higher-level optical assemblies.
Cevians’s growth and rapid expansion of its product offering in advanced display technologies never occurred at the expense of its optical products. As a result, Cevians growth was not only vertical but also lateral. With continued investment in technologies, such as thin film coatings, and manufacturing capabilities, Cevians Optical Products continues to expand and innovate while also providing a technological advantage to Cevians Display Products.

A Decade At Cevians, What Has Changed
The last decade has seen several technology breakthroughs including deep learning, mRNA, CRISPR, reusable rockets, lithium-ion batteries, 5G/6G, and quantum computing but in the aggregate, the market segment in which Cevians operates has not seen changes that have been pivotal to the industry. There are certainly changes related to the digitalization of the battlefield and the use of AI and UAV’s, and the growth in glass cockpit demand has increased but essentially, the technology has not changed much.
There have been limited changes in display technologies despite the commercial abundance of OLEDs, micro LEDs, and flexible displays. The fundamentals have essentially remained the same.
Cevians, however, has been on an accelerated expansion to support the growing demands of its optical and display products. As a result, the company invested significantly in building its industrial capabilities and capacity. The company invested heavily in technology development, manufacturing and clean room facilities, and expanded its engineering capabilities to support its customer’s need for more advanced or complete display systems.
The company also quadrupled its physical footprint and now has operations in California, Canada, and Mexico. Cevians continues to develop over 12 new products each year besides its internal research and development projects.
10 years after its founding, the company name, Cevians, remains synonomous to optical products and more particularly, high performance NVIS materials. Cevians reputation now includes being one of the best providers of ruggedized display systems.
